In accordance with the new regulations for inbound travelers by Ministry of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is hereby announced by the consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hong Kong and Macao that from November 2021 the following points will be implemented to the inbound travelers aged 12 or above to Iran:
Iranian Citizens:
Negative result proof of the Covid-19 PCR test for which the sample was taken within 96 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the flight.
Non- Iranian Citizens:
Negative result proof of the Covid-19 PCR test for which the sample was taken within 96 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the flight.
Certificate of Completion of Covid-19 vaccination which means suggested dosage has been administered at least 14 days prior to the departure date.
Notes:
Provision of Covid-19 vaccination certificate is not mandatory for Iranian citizens.
All Iranian citizens can enter Iran using the expired Iranian Passport and apply for a new Iranian passport in Iran.
Covid-19 PCR test for all travelers younger than 12 is not mandatory.
Hong Kong, Macao and Mainland China passport holders can enjoy visa free travel to Iran for 21 days upon each arrival subject to observe aforementioned regulations.
Visa applications are welcomed and will be pursued according the legal requirement.
