This "war of choice" initiated by the US President alongside the genocidal regime, lacks a democratic mandate even within his own borders; current polling indicates that three-quarters of Americans disapprove of the decision to launch a new, catastrophic conflict in the Middle East. It is a profound injustice that the American people’s tax dollars—rightfully intended for the development and welfare of their own citizens—are being squandered on a destructive military campaign while domestic infrastructure and social programs remain underfunded.
The senior leadership in Washington continues to operate with a dangerous ignorance of Iranian history and unique psychology of "unification and resistance." Throughout millennia, our nation has demonstrated that external threats only serve to dissolve internal differences and forge a singular, unbreakable resolve. In moments of difficulty, the Iranian people do not fracture; they unify with a collective iron will to defend their home.
Most abhorrent is the deliberate targeting of civilian sanctuaries, including hospitals and educational institutions. A tragic testament to this brutality is the recent strike on the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school in Minab, which resulted in the martyrdom of 165 innocent students and teachers. How can it be accepted, while the families in Minab were burying their children, the U.S.A First Lady presided over a UN Security Council session focused on the welfare and education of children. Such diplomatic theater cannot mask the reality of war crimes. It’s the time for the global community to condemn these atrocities and hold the aggressors accountable for the blood of the innocent.
